Khaled Ashraf is an educator, writer, and school leader working within a state correctional institution. His work explores fatherhood, community, and the hidden structures that shape everyday life. Drawing from both professional experience and broader reflection, his writing focuses on what is often overlooked but deeply consequential. The Shelter is his first novel.
